Want to switch to Gaurilla? Fill in your trial balance to get your books up to date.

Gaurilla makes is easy to make the books ready to get started on the right note. Here's how to do it.

  1. Login into your Gaurilla account and set the workspace.

  2. Click on Accounting >> Accounts option from the main navigation bar on the left.


  3. You will be presented with all the accounts you have in your business. You may edit them or add new accounts.

  4. Once done with the accounts, click on Balance button adjacent to New button on same page and a Balances form will open.


  5. Now fill that Balances form as follows:


    1. In Description field mention any kind of description related to entry you want.

    2. In Date field mention the date of the transaction.

    3. In Balance field there will be a list of accounts you have added in Gaurilla and every account is followed by two input fields Credit and Debit. Now enter the amount, either in Credit or Debit, in every account same as you have in you previous software.

  6. Once done, click on Save button to save the trial balance in Gaurilla.
